Week-End Finds

I'm not sure if it's me, but my thrift store outings have been kind of lame lately.  I'm not finding much these days.  This below is another bench. I am not bench obsessed, I promise.  My friend saw my bench post and asked me to help salvage this. I happily agreed. I'll be working on it this week. I'm thinking some darker stain and a fun fabric.  Let's see what I find at Joann's.
These rolls of tulle were $0.50 each. I'll probably use them for an Easter wreath for my door.
I'll be picking a winner for my Target Gift card Giveaway by 6:00 p.m. this evening.
Hurry and enter!

My treasure hunts have been pretty lame also. I stopped at the Goodwill the other day and was blown away at how [high] their prices were, considering... But it's hit or miss with them stores right?

Once you make your Easter wreath, youll have to show how it turned out! :)

We haven't had any luck with trift store shopping either. Something in the water? Maybe people are inspired to keep all their stuff now with so many great ideas at the ready :0)

Mine has been the same. So excited for 1/2 price Good Will Friday and there was nothing!! I had gone the day before and there was this wonderful elephant lamp that I was going to get - but it was gone the next day. Sigh.

Great finds! Isn't it funny how you're not trying to find certain things yet there they are? I went through a tray thing last year. EVERYWHERE! Can't wait to see what you do w/ your treasures :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking time to leave a comment! I'm glad you liked the post. I'm definitely not an experienced napkin-folder myself. I'm pretty sure that was my first "real" napkin fold, and it really was easy. By the way, your yellow roses were beautiful! Have a good week.

I find my thrifting success goes in spurts as well. Sometimes it is like a flood and others a desert. Ah well, at least it helps to keep clutter (and the wallet) under control  Love that bench…lots of fun potential!
